The Mighty Quinn Tavern

The Mighty Quinn Tavern is a busy Irish-style pub on Wanneroo Road in Yokine, Perth's inner north, and it wears its dog credentials openly. The sunny outdoor courtyard takes well-behaved dogs for daytime and early evening sessions, with a house rule that keeps weekend nights humans-only.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor beer garden during the day and early evening, leashed and settled at your table. The venue's own policy asks dogs to sit out after 6pm on weekends, when the garden packs out for dinner and live music.

Doors open from 11am Monday to Thursday and Friday, and from 10am on weekends, trading late into the night. A lunch visit with the dog is the easy win, especially midweek when the courtyard is quiet.

The vibe

The kitchen is proper pub fare: porterhouse, lamb shanks, steak sandwiches, pork ribs, a Sunday roast and sticky date pudding, with live music adding to the weekend noise. It is a large, well-run local that draws families through the day and a big dinner crowd at night.

Pepsi: get in for a weekday lunch, take a shaded corner of the courtyard, and let the Sunday roast do the heavy lifting on the weekend visit, dog at home for that one.

The address is 112 Wanneroo Road, Yokine WA 6060, on the main arterial between the city and the northern suburbs. Parking is available on site and on the surrounding streets, with bus routes running along Wanneroo Road.
