Muzz Buzz - Yokine

Muzz Buzz Yokine is a drive-through coffee stop on Wanneroo Road where the dog does not have to leave the back seat. The chain actively courts dogs, with free biscuits at the window part of the routine, and the Yokine crew gets regular mentions for making a fuss of four-legged passengers.

The dog setup

This is drive-through service, so your car is the seating. Ask at the window for the free dog treat, and ask about a pup cup too; they are offered at selected stores, so it is worth the question rather than an assumption. Keep the dog properly secured while you queue, because the lane is close to traffic. There is limited parking if you would rather walk up to the window with the dog.

Worth knowing

The java chocolate chip, iced coffees, shakes and donuts are what people keep ordering, and speed is the reliable part of the deal. Hours run from 5am on weekdays and 6am weekends, so it works for very early starts before a walk. The weekday commuter queue is the one drawback; mid-morning is the calm window.

Getting there and parking

The store sits on Wanneroo Road in Yokine with a dedicated drive-through lane. If you are walking up rather than driving through, parking is limited, so pair it with a stop at Dog Swamp Reserve just down the road rather than making it the destination itself.

Close by with the dogs

Dog Swamp Reserve is the obvious leg-stretch before or after your coffee, and the fenced run at Dianella is a short drive east for a proper off-lead session. Mid-Century Cafe and Collectables is the sit-down alternative in the same suburb if the drive-through is clogged.
