Rehn Bier Brewery

Rehn Bier is a family-run micro-brewery and cellar door at 75 Magnolia Road, Tanunda, pouring small-batch craft beer about an hour from Adelaide. It is genuinely dog-friendly, with water bowls out for visiting dogs, which makes it an easy stop on a Barossa beer crawl.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome both inside the cellar door and out on the covered patio, so you are not stuck choosing between weather and your dog. It is a casual, intimate room close to the brewing gear. Keep dogs on a lead around other guests, and water bowls are provided.

Good to know. The draw is the range, with around a dozen taps flowing and reviewers calling out the stout, ginger beer and tasting paddles. Live music and open-mic nights run at times, and there are take-home options. Check what is on before you head out.

Getting there. On-site parking is available on Magnolia Road, a short drive from central Tanunda.

Nearby with the dogs. Several Magnolia Road and nearby wineries welcome dogs outdoors, and there are walking paths along the Para River close by.
