Getting there. It sits in the heart of Fremantle at 51 Cantonment Street. Street parking on Cantonment Street and the surrounding blocks fills fast on weekends; the Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour and council car parks nearby are the reliable fallback. Fremantle station is a short walk.

Nearby with the dogs. The Esplanade Reserve is a couple of minutes away for an on-lead leg-stretch, and the Fishing Boat Harbour boardwalk makes an easy coastal loop before or after a meal.

When to go. Weekday lunches and early evenings are calmest. Come the weekend, arrive before the music and lunch rush to claim a courtyard table with shade and a clear spot for the lead.
