Hip Hops Brewers is the craft brewery inside The Sheds at Brendale, and it has become the precinct's weekend anchor: a 4.9-strong local following built on house beers, a generous gin selection, platters, and trivia nights that pack the room. The dog policy is stated plainly by the venue itself, which puts it ahead of most breweries in the area: everyone is welcome, dogs included, with dogs settling in the undercover outdoor area where picnic tables run the length of the space.

The undercover part is what makes this work year-round. Brendale's outdoor dining dies in a summer storm, but a roofed beer garden with picnic tables keeps sessions going through the wet season, and the format suits dogs better than the high tables inside: your own table, floor space to settle, and room for a water bowl. Opening hours run Wednesday and Thursday 11am to 8pm, Friday and Saturday 11am to 10pm, Sunday 11am to 6pm, with Monday and Tuesday closed, so plan the visit around the back half of the week.

The venue's own site states the welcome, so this is a confirmed policy rather than a reported practice: dogs in the undercover outdoor area, at the picnic tables, on a lead. The brewery also leans family friendly, which helps; a dog that can settle under a table through a trivia night is unlikely to be the outlier. Ginger seltzer and the non-beer list give the designated driver something, and the platters cover a group without anyone needing to leave for food.
