Zuccoli Fenced Dog Park

Zuccoli Fenced Dog Park is a fully enclosed off-leash park in the Zuccoli Community Hub, at 13 Tuckeroo Boulevard, Zuccoli. Its defining feature is the separation into two distinct, fully fenced zones: a large active dog area and a smaller quiet dog area, making it a practical choice for owners who need to manage different energy levels or temperaments.

The rules. The park is open 24/7. Owners must stay inside the fenced area with their dogs at all times. Always use the double-gate entry system correctly to prevent dogs from slipping out as you enter or leave. You must pick up your dog's waste and use the provided bins.

What's there. The large active dog area covers approximately 2300 square metres, while the separate quiet dog area covers roughly 700 square metres. The surface is a mix of open grass and sandy patches, with mature trees providing natural shade. Both areas have seating and shaded shelters. The large dog area features a water play feature, and dog water bowls are available. The park is wheelchair-friendly and includes doggy bag dispensers and bins.

Getting there. You can access the park via Zuccoli Parade. A dedicated car park is available directly at the adjacent Zuccoli Community Hub. Buslink buses service the Zuccoli and Palmerston residential areas, providing public transit connections through to Palmerston city.

Watch-outs. The Northern Territory heat is intense. Avoid walking or exercising your dog during the middle of the day. Stick to early morning or evening visits to prevent overheating, and always check the water bowls before letting your dog drink.

When to go. The park is busiest in the late afternoon and early evening, particularly between 4:30pm and 6:30pm during the dry season. If your dog works better with space, aim for a weekday morning or early afternoon when the crowds thin out. Time your visit for the cooler hours of the day, utilise the adjacent Community Hub for public toilets before you head home, and bring your own water to top up the bowls if they run dry.
