The park is fully fenced with a double-gated entry, and dogs run off-leash inside under effective voice control, supervised at all times. City of Charles Sturt rules apply: carry a lead even inside the fence, leash and remove any dog that turns aggressive or unmanageable, and clean up on the spot using the bags and bins near the entrance. Access is generally available any time, though daylight visits are the sensible choice.

Neat and low-key. Lush grass under mature shade trees, three bench seats, and enough smaller plantings to give dogs a genuine scent environment to work through. Visitors consistently call out cleanliness and the quiet greenspace. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings are the busiest windows; Sunday morning through Tuesday morning, and Saturday nights, are the calm ones.

Find it on Jervois Avenue off Port Road, near the South Road freeway buffer and reachable via the South Road extension. On-street parking is generally available directly outside, and public transport runs along Port Road and near the Entertainment Centre with a short walk to Jervois Avenue.

There is outdoor gym equipment alongside for owners who want to double up their session, and no separate small-dog enclosure, so the single shared space rewards a considerate crowd. Water is not guaranteed on site, so bring a bottle in summer.
