Webster Road Park at 422 Webster Road, Stafford Heights has a simple fenced off-leash yard that is open 24 hours. It is the quieter of the suburb's two fenced dog parks, and it is a separate spot from the better-known Grey Gum Park run on Rode Road a few minutes away, despite some maps blurring the two.

The rules. Off-leash inside the fence only; dogs go back on the leash everywhere else in the park. Keep effective voice control, pick up and bin waste straight away, and remove any dog behaving aggressively.

What's there. Secure fencing, benches and bins, with some natural shade that thins out through the middle of the day. There is no confirmed water tap inside the yard.

Bring your own water and a bowl. On a hot day the thin shade here runs out fast for dark-coated dogs.

When to go. This is a low-key local yard, so it rarely gets rowdy; it makes a good fallback when Grey Gum Park is packed on weekend mornings. Suits dogs that find busier parks overwhelming.
