Bradbury Park Fenced Dog Park

Bradbury Park Fenced Dog Park sits inside the much larger Bradbury Park on Kitchener Road in Kedron, a grassy, fully fenced off-leash yard with room for a proper run. It shares the block with one of Brisbane's northside showpiece playgrounds, so it is as much a family outing as a dog park trip.

The dog setup

The yard is enclosed with a double-gate entry, and recent upgrades brought improved boundary fencing, wider paths and new picnic and barbecue facilities nearby. Shaded seating runs around the fence line and toilets sit close by. The ground is open grass rather than agility gear, which suits dogs that want to stretch out and run. Dogs stay on lead through the wider park and go lead-free only inside the fence.

Brisbane City Council's off-leash rules apply: stay inside the enclosure with your dog, carry a lead, bin the waste, and leash up if play turns pushy.

Worth knowing

There is no lighting, so plan around daylight. The park's playground, scooter loop and barbecue areas pull a crowd on weekend mornings, which fills the car park even when the dog yard itself stays manageable. A weekday mid-morning is the quietest bet for the fence.

Getting there and parking

The address is 91 Kitchener Road, Kedron, with a dedicated visitor car park near the corner of Batten Street and Allan Street, including accessible bays. Buses along Gympie Road and the local Kedron streets cover anyone arriving without a car.

Close by with the dogs

Nana and Da's on Homebush Road has a dog-friendly courtyard for the post-run coffee. For another off-lead option nearby, the Wavell Dog Off-Leash Area is a few suburbs over in Wavell Heights.
