White Park Fenced Dog Park

White Park is a fully fenced off-leash enclosure in White Park Reserve, a short drive from the Murray Bridge town centre just off the South Eastern Freeway. It is the calmer of the town's two fenced dog parks, with double-gate entry, renewed perimeter fencing and grassy run room, well suited to small dogs and owners who want a secure session without the bigger park's bustle.

Leash status

Dogs run off-leash inside the fence under effective voice and visual control, with an adult present at all times. The Rural City of Murray Bridge rules cap handlers at two dogs each, require handlers to be 16 or older unless accompanied by an adult, and demand a leash for entering and exiting. Every dog needs a collar with a current council registration disc, aggression means an immediate leash-up and exit, and no non-canine animals are allowed in. Pick up after your dog and bring backup bags in case the dispensers run low.

Water and terrain

The enclosure is grassed with shade trees, timber shelters with seating, and agility equipment for training. Bag dispensers and bins are on site. On-site taps can be subject to seasonal maintenance, so carry your own water and a bowl rather than relying on the park. The wider reserve houses a playground and community facilities, so the fence line matters and dogs stay inside it.

Getting there and parking

White Park Reserve sits near the Mulgundawah Road and Gladstone Street corner. Street parking runs around the reserve perimeter, and local bus routes through town leave a short walk to the gate.

When to go

Early mornings and late afternoons after about 4:30pm draw the regulars. For a quieter session, or with a reactive dog, aim mid-morning to mid-afternoon, and on hot Murray Bridge days come early or near dusk. The lawn and shade make it workable in most weather.
