What visitors mention
White Park is a fully fenced off-leash enclosure set in White Park Reserve, just off the main roads of Murray Bridge. It is the calmer of the town's two fenced dog parks, with double-gate entry and grassy run room, well suited to small dogs and to owners who want a secure space without the busier-park bustle.
The rules. Dogs can be off-leash inside the fence but must stay under effective voice and visual control. A maximum of two dogs per handler applies, and handlers must be 16 or older unless an adult is with them. Leash your dog when entering and exiting, and all dogs must wear a collar with a current council registration disc. Pick up after your dog, and bring backup bags in case the dispensers run low.
What's there. Secure airlock-style double gates, timber shelters with seating, agility equipment, and bag dispensers with bins. The reserve grounds also house a Child Health Centre. On-site taps can be subject to seasonal maintenance, so carry your own water and bowl.
Getting there. A short drive from the Murray Bridge town centre, just off the South Eastern Freeway. Street parking is available around the reserve perimeter. Local bus routes run through town, though you may have a short walk to the gate.
Nearby with the dogs. Luogo, a cafe in town, has street-facing tables and a shaded side alfresco area where well-behaved dogs are welcome. The council runs both town dog parks, so you can pair White Park with Johnstone Park if your dog wants a change of scene.
Early mornings before work and late afternoons after about 4:30pm are the busiest. For a quieter session, or if your dog is reactive, aim for mid-morning to mid-afternoon. On hot days come early or near dusk. Good for small dogs and for owners wanting a secure, low-key run.
