What visitors mention
A fully fenced off-leash park inside Heritage Park, on the edge of central Mullumbimby, open around the clock. The draw is the setup: roughly 5,000 square metres of open grass with separate secured pens for small and large dogs, so you can pick the right yard for your dog and let them run without second-guessing the fence line.
The rules. Dogs run off-leash inside the fenced enclosure but must stay under effective control. Keep them on-leash within ten metres of the children's playground elsewhere in Heritage Park. Pick up after your dog - bags and bins are provided - and pull any dog that turns aggressive straight out of the pen.
What's there. Secure perimeter fencing with double-gate entries at both yards, drinking fountains and dog bowls on-site, seating and some shade, and open grass with newer tree plantings still filling in. The double gates make it easy to leash up before you re-enter the wider park.
Getting there. The park sits off Stuart Street in central Mullumbimby, walkable from the town centre. Street parking is generally easy along Stuart Street and near the entrance.

When to go. Saturday mornings and Tuesday and Wednesday evenings are the busy social windows. For a quieter run, try weekday mornings, Sunday afternoon, or a Monday evening. Good for dogs who need a safe fenced space to burn energy.
