Reflections Ferry Reserve - Holiday Park

Reflections Ferry Reserve is the dog-friendly one of Brunswick Heads' holiday parks, sitting on the banks of the Brunswick River on Riverside Crescent. Dogs are welcome year round on all caravan and camping sites and in selected pet-friendly cabins, which makes it a reliable waterside base in a town where several other parks turn pets away.

Dogs at the Ferry Reserve

Up to two dogs are allowed per booking, and they must be registered when you book online, over the phone or at the park itself. Pet-friendly accommodation is limited to selected cabin and tiny home styles, so pick a designated pet option at booking rather than assuming any cabin will do. There is generally no extra per-night pet surcharge, but check the booking breakdown at checkout for any cleaning conditions.

On site, the rules are the standard Reflections code of conduct: leads on whenever your dog is outside your own site or cabin deck, and no dogs in the amenities blocks or communal indoor spaces. One trap worth knowing: the other Reflections park in town, Massy Greene, does not take dogs at all because of protections for ground-nesting birds, so double check which park you are booking before you point the car at Brunswick Heads.

The vibe

This is a flat, spread-out riverside park with direct water and boat ramp access, a short distance from the town centre rather than in it. The river is the draw: you get paddling, fishing and morning walks along the bank without crossing a road. It suits campers and caravan travellers more than anyone wanting resort polish.

The Brunswick Heads Main Beach dog exercise area covers the off-leash run, and the riverbank walk into town takes you past the cafes. Footbridge Cafe near the footbridge does breakfast, and if you would rather sleep in a bed than a cabin, The Brunswick motel keeps designated dog-friendly ground-floor rooms.

Getting there
