Uralla Reserve is a quiet, secluded off-leash area near the corner of Uralla Road and the Nepean Highway in Mount Martha. It is a low-traffic grassy reserve ringed by trees, suited to a calm walk rather than a big social run.
The rules. It is a designated leash-free area where dogs can run, but they must stay under effective control. The reserve is unfenced or only partially fenced, and it sits close to the Nepean Highway, so a solid recall is essential here. Bring your own waste bags, as on-site amenities are minimal.
What is there. Facilities are basic: a grassy reserve with tree cover and very limited on-site parking. There is little in the way of water or bins, so come prepared.

Getting there. Located at the intersection of Uralla Road and the Nepean Highway. Parking is very limited, so it is best when quiet.
When to go. Its secluded feel makes it a good quiet-time option midweek. Given the open layout and nearby highway, save it for dogs you trust off-lead.
