Minto Fenced Dog Park

Minto Fenced Dog Park is a large, fully fenced off-leash area at 9 Eagleview Road in Minto, open around the clock and run by Campbelltown City Council. A looped concrete path, agility gear and genuinely roomy grounds have made it one of the go-to off-leash destinations in the Macarthur region.

The dog setup

The enclosure is fully fenced with a secure double gate at entry, so latch both behind you before unclipping. Inside there is a water station, sheltered seating with benches and tables, tunnels and a ramp for dogs that like equipment, and bag dispensers with bins. One thing to plan around: this is a single shared area with no separate sections for small and large dogs, so a small or shy dog mixes with everyone. Ground is mostly grass with some shade, and it can turn patchy after hot weather or muddy after rain. Entry paths are wheelchair accessible.

Pepsi: no size separation means you are the traffic controller. In the busy windows, walk the loop with a new dog rather than letting it get cornered at the gate.

The vibe

Weekday mornings and evenings, plus weekend mornings, are the busiest windows, and the regulars are a friendly crowd. For a quieter run, weekday mid-morning or early afternoon is the better bet. Council conditions apply as everywhere in Campbelltown: effective control at all times, leash on for entry and exit, and a maximum of four dogs per handler.

Getting there and parking

The park sits at 9 Eagleview Road with free on-street parking directly alongside. Minto station is a 15 to 20 minute walk away if you arrive by train on the T8 Airport and South Line.

Close by with the dogs

Oliver Brown in Minto Marketplace welcomes dogs at its outdoor tables for a coffee after, and Hidden Leaf Cafe in Campbelltown is another dog-friendly option a few minutes away. For a leashed bush walk, the Koala Walk Reserve at Ingleburn is close by.
