Bulldog Park is a general local park on Memorial Avenue in Liverpool, with a large grassed open space and a children's playground. The single most important fact for dog owners: it is a leash-on park, not a designated off-leash area, so this is a steady stroll rather than a run-free session.

Liverpool City Council does not list Bulldog Park among its off-leash areas, which means dogs stay on lead and under effective control at all times here. Standard rules apply on top: clean up after your dog and keep them from harassing people or other animals.

Declared dangerous, menacing or restricted breeds are excluded from the council's off-leash areas as a blanket rule. If your dog needs a proper run, plan it at a designated park instead and treat Bulldog Park as the warm-up walk.

Max: leash-on park, full stop. Do the Memorial Avenue lap for the leg-stretch, then drive the five minutes to Hammondville for the actual off-lead session.
