What visitors mention
Ozone Reserve Fenced Dog Park sits within the broader Ozone Reserve in East Perth, with the fenced off-leash area at the corner of Plain Street and Riverside Drive, close to the Swan River. It is open 24 hours and is one of only two fenced dog parks in this pocket of East Perth, popular for its agility equipment and city views.
The rules. Dogs may run off-leash only inside the fenced perimeter. Owners are expected to keep dogs under voice control at all times, clean up after them using the bins and bag dispenser provided, and remove any dog showing aggression immediately.
What's there. The park has a genuine agility setup: jump bars, weave poles, a pyramid ramp, a dog walk and resting podiums, plus a drinking fountain, benches, shade and paved paths. A community basket of tennis balls sometimes turns up too, though don't rely on it being there.
Getting there. Free parking is available near the reserve, and the free CAT bus running along Adelaide Terrace stops within an easy walk. It's also a short stroll from the Riverside Drive walking paths if you want to extend the outing.
Nearby. Cafes along Adelaide Terrace and around Claisebrook Cove are a five to ten minute walk and generally welcoming to well-behaved dogs on outdoor tables, though confirm on arrival. Victory Terrace Fenced Dog Park is a short walk away if this one is busy, and Quest East Perth offers pet-friendly apartments nearby for anyone staying over.

Expect the biggest crowds straight after work, from about 5pm to 7pm, and on weekend mornings. Weekday daytime is quieter and a good bet for a timid dog's first visit.
