QT Perth

QT Perth is a design-led hotel on Hay Street in the CBD that takes dogs through its Pup Yeah! package, which makes it one of the few full-service city hotels in Perth where the dog is written into the booking rather than tolerated at the door. Expect bold modern rooms, a rooftop bar with sunset views, and a dog set-up waiting in the room on arrival.

Dogs at the QT Perth

One dog per room, booked on the Pup Yeah! package. The package is aimed at dogs under 25kg; larger dogs can be arranged if you call ahead and clear it with the hotel first. On arrival the dog gets a CUB orthopaedic memory foam bed, smith&burton pamper products, a bag of St Argo treats, a 'Strut Your Pup' local pet map, and access to a dog room-service menu. House rules matter: the dog must be house-trained, sleeps on its own bed, stays leashed or carried through public areas as a thoroughfare, and is never left alone in the room. Food and beverage outlets, the gym, pool and spa are out of bounds. A pre-arrival pet waiver is required and the package rate already covers the cleaning; the hotel applies an additional $40 per night only after the third night.

QT leans into statement design, and the Rooftop at QT plus sunset city views are the signature. This suits owners travelling with a calm, well-mannered dog that comes everywhere with them, because the no-unattended rule means no parking the dog while you do the city separately.

Getting there and parking

The hotel sits in the central CBD, an easy walk from Elizabeth Quay and the Swan River foreshore, with Perth train station nearby. Valet parking is available on site.

Close by with the dogs

For an off-lead run, the Ozone Reserve Fenced Dog Park in East Perth has agility equipment, water stations and fencing, about ten minutes away. On-lead options include the Elizabeth Quay via Point Fraser riverside walk and the Perth Dog Exercise Area. Cafes within walking distance include Kinky Lizard Cafe Barrack st and Panda & Co for outdoor tables.
