Chadwick Reserve Dog Park is a fenced off-leash area inside the wider Chadwick Reserve on Elder Street, Dingley Village. It is fully gated and split into a large open run and a separate zone for small or shy dogs, which is the main reason to pick it - you can give a nervous or little dog its own space away from the boisterous end.

The rules. Dogs are off-leash only inside the fenced dog park. Everywhere else in Chadwick Reserve they must be on lead, since the reserve also holds a playground, BBQs, and a BMX track. Keep your dog under effective voice control, stay with them, and clear up straight away using the waste dispensers provided.

What's there. The park has dog agility equipment, bench and picnic seating, tree plantings for shade, and a mix of grass and granitic sand underfoot. There is a drinking fountain for dogs and people, bins, and a dedicated car park close by.

Getting there. Use Elder Street for direct access to the car park; the dog park sits on the western side of the reserve. Buses run on Boundary Road and through the Dingley Village town centre for those coming without a car.

When to go. Busiest on weekend mornings and weekday evenings after work and school. For a calmer session, try a weekday morning or early afternoon. If the main run feels chaotic, the small-dog section is the easy fallback.
