This is the practical access point, parking bay and entry route for the off-leash area at Croudace Bay Dog Park on the Lake Macquarie shoreline at Eleebana. For dog owners, what matters is simple: free, close-by parking that puts you and your dog within metres of open lawns, a fenced section and the water.

Parking and access. Free parking sits at the Thomas H. Halton Park area off Macquarie Drive, with additional street parking on Shaw Street. Saturday and Sunday mornings are the busiest times, so get there early if you want a spot close to the entrance. Check current signage on arrival for any restrictions.

What it connects to. The carpark serves both the main open-field off-leash area and the Croudace Bay Small Fenced Dog Park at the southern end. The fenced section is off-leash at any time; the open areas run sunrise to 10am daily, plus 4:30pm to sunset on weekdays only. Bushland to the north is on-leash at all times.

Nearby. Water taps, BBQ grills and picnic tables sit adjacent to the dog area. For a post-walk coffee, dog-friendly outdoor seating is a five-minute drive north at Warners Bay spots like Hippo Espresso and Lena's Cafe and Bar.

Weekday mornings and late weekday afternoons are the quietest windows for an easy park and a calm session. If you want the fenced area to yourself, skip Saturday mornings entirely.
