Kowan Recreation Reserve

Kowan Recreation Reserve is the new sports and parkland space on Mountainview Boulevard, inside the Tulliallan estate in Cranbourne North. A sealed path loops the ovals, and dogs stay on lead.

Lead rules

City of Casey requires dogs to be on a leash on paths and in reserves unless an area is signed as off-lead. Keep dogs at least 20 metres from the playground and play equipment.

The walk

Sealed shared paths wind around the sports ovals and open space. A lap is roughly half a kilometre to a kilometre, depending on the line you take.

Along the way are open grass fields, a modern playground and new native plantings.

Make a day of it

For a longer walk, try Marriott Waters Reserve in Lyndhurst. Jersey's Cider House is nearby for later.

A short, flat loop suits puppies and older dogs. Bring water for the dog.
