What visitors mention

fence

A small, fully fenced off-leash park on Snowdon Drive in Cheltenham. At roughly 0.3 hectares it is compact, but the secure perimeter is the point: a safe space for a confident run and a sniff without worrying about the road.

The rules. Keep your dog leashed until you are inside the fenced enclosure, then off-leash play is fine within it. Stay in the park with your dog, keep them under effective voice control, and pick up after them - bins are provided. Any dog showing aggression should be removed promptly.

What's there. Secure perimeter fencing, drinking fountains, bench seating and an accessible picnic set, waste bag dispensers and bins. The City of Kingston has been upgrading the site with shade tree plantings and surface work.

This one has a history of mud in winter. Bring a towel and check the ground before you commit to a muddy wrestle.

Getting there. The park is at 5A Snowdon Drive, with street parking on the surrounding residential streets. Cheltenham Station on the Sandringham line is roughly a 10-15 minute walk.

Mid-week mornings are the quietest. Weekday afternoons 4-6pm and weekend mornings draw the local crowd. Being small and fully fenced, it suits a quick, secure off-leash session more than a long roam.
