Broadview Fenced Dog Park sits inside the Broadview Sports and Recreation Precinct (Yarnta Tutu Yarta) at 46 McInnes Avenue, a recently upgraded, fully fenced off-leash area that's open around the clock.

The rules. The fenced dog park itself is off-leash at all times. The surrounding Broadview Oval is a separate space and only off-leash between 5am-8am and 5pm-9pm, so keep your dog on lead there outside those windows. Owners are expected to pick up after their dogs and keep them under control, and free waste bags are provided on-site.

What's there. Double-gate entry for safe off-lead exit, a water point, seating, and a well-maintained lawn. It sits next to a new playground, a soccer club with a kiosk that opens periodically, and public restrooms. Ample on-site parking.

Getting there. Access is via McInnes Avenue, well connected to Galway Avenue and the A17. Bus stops on Hampstead Road and Galway Avenue serve the area if you're not driving.

Nearby with the dogs. That Coffee Place is close by on Regency Road for a coffee stop with the dog afterwards, and Prospect Road has several other dog-friendly cafes a short drive away.

The fenced park is small, good for a quick leg-stretch or a smaller dog, but if yours needs a proper run, time your visit to the oval's off-leash windows instead.

Sunday mornings, Sunday afternoons and Wednesday evenings are the busiest times. Weeknights and weekday mid-mornings are quieter. The lawn drains reasonably well after rain, but some patches can still turn muddy, so it's worth a towel in the car after wet weather.
