That Coffee Place is a cafe run from inside Hayley's Flower Shop at 606 Regency Road, Broadview, and the pairing shapes everything about a visit. Coffee is poured among fresh floral displays, the team behind the counter are florists and baristas at once, and dogs are welcome to settle in at the seating out the front. It is a compact, chatty local stop in Adelaide's inner north rather than a destination, and an easy one to fold into a walk with the dog.

Dogs are welcome at the outdoor seating out front, which sits beside the working florist rather than inside the shop with the flowers and food service. Water bowls are put out for dogs, and staff occasionally have dog treats on hand, which is more than most cafe stops offer. Keep your dog close while you order: the seating is shared space at the front of a working shop, so a settled dog under the table is the etiquette.

Worth knowing

The menu leans specialty coffee and cabinet food. Ham and cheese croissants and toasted sandwiches cover the savoury side, while the sweet cabinet runs to loaded cookies, tarts and protein balls, and the drinks list goes past flat whites into matcha lattes and iced signature drinks. Hours run from 7am, with a 3pm close most days and 4pm on Fridays, so it is a morning and lunchtime stop, not an afternoon one.

The address is 606 Regency Road, Broadview, with customer parking at the rear of the shop. It is a flat street-front entry, easy with a dog on a lead.

Close by with the dogs

The Broadview Fenced Dog Park at the Broadview Sports and Recreation Precinct is the nearest proper run, a fully fenced park with double-gated entry, water and bag dispensers a few minutes off Regency Road. If you are cafe-hopping, Frankly Bagels and The Gentle Bean are both short drives away.
