What visitors mention
The short version. Mill Park is a fully fenced, off-leash dog park on Simpson Street in central Beerwah, with agility equipment, natural shade and an open grassy run. It sits right next to town, so it doubles as an easy stop when you are already in the village.
The rules. Inside the fenced enclosure your dog can be off-leash, but you need to stay in the park and supervise at all times. Use the double gates one at a time and check they latch behind you so nothing bolts. Carry your own waste bags and pick up straight away. If your dog gets snappy or over-aroused, leash it and step out - the enclosure only works when everyone reads the room.
What is there. Full perimeter fencing with double-gated entry, a set of agility obstacles for training, covered picnic tables and sheltered seating for owners, plus a water tap and bowls. Public toilets and bins are on-site, which is more than most hinterland dog parks offer.
Getting there. It is on Simpson Street with easy street parking out front, roughly an hour north of Brisbane and half an hour from the coast. Beerwah railway station on the Sunshine Coast line is a 10 to 15 minute walk away, so you can arrive without a car.
Nearby with the dogs. The Beerwah Hotel welcomes dogs in the open, non-roofed part of its beer garden, and The Local cafe in the village shopping centre seats dogs in its alfresco area - both an easy walk from the park.

Weekday mid-mornings and early afternoons are the quietest. It fills up on weekend mornings and on weekday evenings after work, which is great for a social dog and worth avoiding if yours prefers space.
