Where’s Wolli Cafe

Where's Wolli Cafe sits on Levey Street in Wolli Creek right beside Cahill Park Fenced Dog Park, and it plays that position for all it is worth. Take a covered outdoor table with a view towards the park, order the Campos coffee, and let the dog burn off energy next door either side of breakfast. Doors open at 7am daily.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the covered outdoor seating area, leashed and settled at the table. Staff are warm toward dogs and treats are available at the counter on request. Water is not guaranteed at the tables, so bring a travel bowl if your dog drinks heavily after a park session.

The vibe

Casual and relaxed, and a regular pitstop for local owners after a morning walk. The kitchen is known for its Breakfast Deluxe, acai bowls, hash browns and waffles, and the weekend trade is heavy, so expect a wait for the outdoor tables with the better outlook.

Pepsi: order first, then walk the dog next door while the food lands. That is the local system, and the staff are used to it.

The address is Unit 1/20-24 Levey Street, Wolli Creek NSW 2205, an easy walk from Wolli Creek station. Free street parking is available on the surrounding streets but fills up on weekends.

Worth knowing

The cafe closes at 3pm every day, so it is a breakfast and lunch proposition rather than an afternoon one. On an unusually busy day, confirm the covered area is taking dogs before you queue with yours.

Close by with the dogs

Cahill Park Fenced Dog Park is literally next door for off-leash play, and the Cooks River Cycleway runs along the water for a post-coffee stroll. Kals on Cahill is the other dog-friendly table in the neighbourhood.
