Cafe 63 Wilsonton

Cafe 63 in the Wilsonton Shopping Centre is a big, busy all-day breakfast spot on Toowoomba's western side, and one of the easier dog-friendly stops in the area. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating area, which includes an artificial-grass patch set aside for patrons bringing a dog along.

Worth knowing

The menu leans big breakfast: eggs benedict, hash browns, waffles and the like, served all day with quick coffee. Service moves fast and the room is loud at peak times, which suits confident dogs but can unsettle a nervous one.

It opens early and closes late, running from 5:30am to 9pm every day of the week. Weekend breakfast is the busiest window by far, with a full car park and a queue for tables.

The cafe sits in the Wilsonton Shopping Centre on Bridge Street, with free open-air parking right at the door. That makes a short coffee stop with a dog in the car-zone-and-back routine pretty painless.
