SEE SEA CAFE

See Sea Cafe is the little beachside kiosk at 120 Narrabeen Park Parade, Warriewood, planted right on the coastal footpath between Mona Vale and Narrabeen with the ocean at its front door. The LJ Hooker Mona Vale dog guide names it among the area's proper dog-friendly stops: dogs sit with you at the outdoor tables, and everything works as takeaway if your dog would rather keep walking the path.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome at the outdoor seating beside the kiosk, leads on, and the passing parade of walkers, prams and surfers gives a settled dog plenty to watch. There is no dog menu here; carry your own water bowl if you plan to linger. One thing to hold firmly in mind: the sand in front of the cafe is off limits, because Northern Beaches Council prohibits dogs on Warriewood Beach and neighbouring Turimetta Beach at all times, and the Warriewood Wetlands to the west are a declared Wildlife Protection Area where dogs are banned outright.

The food

The kitchen keeps it simple and value-forward: chicken club sandwiches, egg rolls and chips get the regular mentions, alongside eggs benedict, omelettes, fresh sandwiches and a smoked salmon Caesar salad, with lattes, fresh juices and fruit frappes for the drinks. It opens daily from 7:30am to 4pm, which makes a post-early-walk breakfast the obvious play.

Getting there and parking

Street parking along Narrabeen Park Parade fills fast on weekend mornings, but the coastal footpath runs straight past the door, so walking in from Mona Vale or Narrabeen is often easier than driving.

Close by with the dogs

For legal off-leash time, the Rowland Reserve dog park at Bayview is the designated spot a short drive south. On this strip, keep to the clifftop path and grass reserves on the leash; Sunrise Cafe at the surf club and Four Beans and Co are the other dog-friendly coffee options nearby.
