What visitors mention
A family-run cafe and vintage shop at 10 Railway Terrace, opposite the historic Cockle Train station and a short walk from the foreshore. For dog owners the draw is the sheltered veranda and laneway seating, which gives you somewhere comfortable to sit out of the wind with the dog.
The dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor areas, specifically the veranda and the laneway, which makes walking straight in off the street easy. Indoors is kept for diners without dogs. Staff are friendly to pets and treats are sometimes on offer, but bring your own water bowl to be sure.
Good to know. Known for specialty coffee, artisan bagels and toasties, with a strong run of vegan and gluten-free options. The vintage furniture and homewares are part of the appeal. Opening days are limited, generally Sunday to Thursday and closed Friday and Saturday, so check before you go.
Getting there. Free street parking runs along Railway Terrace, with a public car park nearby. Wide footpaths out front make it easy to approach with a dog.
Best on a quieter weekday morning. The foreshore, Warland Reserve and the Causeway are a short walk on for more legroom with the dog.
