Sundaes @ The Pier

Sundaes @ The Pier is a casual cafe and ice cream spot at 3/577 Esplanade, right at the foot of the Urangan Pier. It is a quick stop for coffee, gelato or a roll before or after a walk along the foreshore, with dogs welcome at the outdoor tables.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the alfresco seating directly in front, on lead. As with most Queensland cafes, dogs stay outside rather than indoors. The spot is popular with dog walkers, but bring your own water bowl or check with staff, as a bowl is not guaranteed.

Good to know. Reviewers come for the gelato and ice cream, plus damper rolls and a bacon and egg roll, and the position looking out to the pier and bay. It is a treat-and-go more than a sit-down meal.

Getting there. Find it at 3/577 Esplanade. There is street parking along the Esplanade and in the Urangan Pier car park, and it sits right on the coastal walking path.

Nearby with the dogs. The Esplanade path runs along the water out front, and the Urangan off-leash dog beach is a short stroll away. Salt Cafe Urangan is also close if you want a fuller menu.
