The Brew Wagga

The Brew Wagga is a relaxed cafe on Coleman Street in Turvey Park, a short hop south of the Wagga Wagga CBD, with a grassy backyard courtyard that has quietly become one of the better dog setups in the city. Dogs and kids share the outdoor space, and neither is an afterthought.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the shaded backyard courtyard and at the footpath tables out front; the main dining room is people only. Keep your dog on a lead in the courtyard, and staff will generally bring out a water bowl if you ask. Because the backyard doubles as a play space with a sandpit and kids' play equipment, a dog that settles beside the table rather than patrols the lawn fits in best.

Worth knowing

The menu is solid cafe territory with a strong gluten-free and lactose-free range, and eggs benedict and the cauliflower salad get regular mentions. Coffee is consistently well reviewed, and there is QR code ordering at the tables if you would rather not line up. Weekend mornings are the busy stretch with families, and the cafe closes early on Saturday afternoons and shuts entirely on Sundays, so plan around that.

The address is 67 Coleman Street. There is no dedicated car park, but street parking on Coleman Street and the surrounding residential streets is usually manageable outside the morning rush.

Close by with the dogs
