Chaston Pet Hub is a fully fenced off-leash area on Chaston Street in Wagga, a permanent council off-leash space with open grass for dogs to run and socialise in a secure, gated setting.

The rules. Dogs stay on-lead until inside the fenced area, then may be off-leash under effective voice control. Dogs must wear a collar with ID and be lifetime registered. Declared dangerous dogs and restricted breeds are not permitted. Pick up after your dog and use the bins provided. Use is restricted to daylight hours.

What's there. Secure perimeter fencing with gated entry, waste bags and bins, and a wheelchair-accessible entrance. The grassed area has some trees offering shade. Bring your own water and bowl to be safe.

Getting there. It is on Chaston St, Wagga Wagga, in the Turvey Park and Tolland area. Street parking is available, and it is within reach of local bus routes.

If the park is full when you arrive, wait outside the gate a moment so your dog can settle before going in.

Quietest on weekday mornings or early afternoons. Weekday late afternoons, around 4 to 6pm, and weekends are the busiest. Good for dogs that enjoy company in a secure space.
