Annamese Kitchen is a relaxed Vietnamese cafe in St Kilda, pairing Melbourne brunch staples with traditional dishes like banh mi and pho. It is an easy, low-key stop away from the busier tourist strips.

Getting there. Trams 16 and 3/3a serve the area near Inkerman Street and Carlisle Street, and it sits close to St Kilda Road and Dandenong Road. Street parking is available on the surrounding side streets, so check the signage for time limits and permit zones.

Nearby with the dogs. The St Kilda Botanic Gardens are a short leashed walk away, and the off-leash zones at St Kilda Beach are a longer walk or short drive on.
