South Freo Continental

A deli-style spot on the South Terrace strip doing wood-fired pizza, Italian fine foods and gelato. For dog owners it is a relaxed front-row seat on one of South Freo's busiest cafe stretches.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating along the front on South Terrace. Indoors is people only. Keep dogs leashed and clear of the footpath flow, which gets busy. Bring your own portable water bowl, since one is not guaranteed.

Good to know. Known for authentic wood-fired pizza, gelato and a deli counter of Italian goods. It opens early and runs through to evening, so it works for breakfast, lunch or a late slice.

Getting there. 318 South Terrace. Street parking is on South Terrace and the side streets like Hope and Nelson, walkable if you are already on the strip.

Nearby with the dogs. The South Beach off-leash area is a short walk or quick drive for a run, and South Terrace itself is a good pre- or post-pizza wander.
