Dono coffee Van

Dono Coffee Van is a mobile coffee cart that sets up on Flinders Parade along the Sandgate waterfront, a simple grab-a-cup stop for people walking the foreshore with a dog. It trades a weekend schedule, roughly 7am to 12:30pm on Saturday and Sunday, and closes weekdays, so it is a first-thing-in-the-morning stop rather than an all-day cafe.

Where the dog goes

Everything here is outdoors. Dogs are welcome alongside you on the footpath and the surrounding park grass while you order, with open space to keep a leashed dog settled beside you. There is no counter to sit at and no indoor room, which makes it one of the easiest stops in the suburb for walkers. Bring your own water bowl, as a mobile van does not have one permanently out.

Worth knowing

The cart pours specialty coffee and sells freshly baked cookies, and the weekend timing puts it right in the path of early walkers heading along the waterfront. Because it is a van, hours can shift around community events on the foreshore, so treat the 7am start as the usual rather than the guarantee.

The Sandgate Foreshore Park off-leash area is on the same waterfront stretch, and the fenced run at Curlew Park is close by for a proper play session before coffee.
