A waterfront dessert parlour at Shop 2, 77 Redcliffe Parade, making gelato and ice cream on-site. It sits right on the shared coastal path, which makes it a natural pit stop mid-walk with the dog.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome on the wide waterfront footpath and outdoor seating outside the shop, on lead. The indoor ordering and display area is not for dogs, so one person orders while the other waits outside with the dog, then you sit out front. Bring a portable water bowl, as the footpath gets warm.

Good to know. The pull is a large rotating range of gelato, sorbet and ice cream, plus waffles, crepes, sundaes and dessert paninis. Keep your own ice cream away from the dog, as chocolate, xylitol and macadamia are toxic to them.

Getting there. Street parking is along Redcliffe Parade and the side streets, and it gets busy on weekends, so expect a short walk. It is easiest reached on foot if you are already on the coastal path.

Nearby with the dogs. The Clontarf-to-Redcliffe waterfront walkway runs right past, and Queens Beach North off-leash area is a short drive north for a proper run on the sand.

When to go. Late afternoon and evening on warm days are busiest. Good as a treat stop on a longer foreshore walk.
