Ramsgate Beach House Kiosk

Ramsgate Beach House Kiosk is the beachfront end of the Ramsgate Beach House venue at 274 The Grand Parade, and its whole deal is location: the kiosk opens directly onto the beach promenade beside Cook Park, with sand and water a few steps away. It trades 7am to 4pm on weekdays and to 5pm on weekends, and between the coffee, the gelato and the grab and go counter it covers a full day at the beach.

The dog setup. The venue's own site states the beachside kiosk is dog friendly, with kiosk food and drinks restricted to the outdoor and beach areas. In practice that means the promenade and the parkland are your dining room: pick a spot on the grass or the walkway, keep the dog off the main outdoor dining zone during peak hours, and the whole stretch of Cook Park frontage becomes your table.

The menu skews beach day: coffee and gelato in the morning, then fish tacos, barramundi and calamari as the afternoon rolls on. On a warm Sunday it gets busy, but the takeaway window keeps things moving and the view never requires a booking.

Worth knowing

The Grand Parade car parks fill early on summer weekends, so an early arrival secures both a spot and the calmest dog conditions. The promenade runs in both directions along Cook Park, giving plenty of leashed walking before or after food, and the beach next door makes the gelato stop an easy finish.
