Peatree Coffees

Peatree Coffees is a small mobile coffee trailer on Waterview Street in Putney, open weekend mornings from about 8am to 1pm and closed on weekdays. It is an open-air, walk-up stop rather than a sit-down cafe: order at the trailer window, pick up barista coffee, cold drinks and baked goods, and take it from there. Because there is no indoor area at all, dogs are naturally part of the setup, and a stop here fits neatly into a foreshore walk.

Dogs on lead are welcome throughout, since the whole operation is outdoors. Most people grab their order and keep walking, or perch on the grass nearby. Water for dogs is not guaranteed, so bring your own bowl on warmer days. Hours can shift with weather or private bookings, so check the trailer's socials before you head out.

Close by with the dogs

The trailer is well placed for the Parramatta River foreshore. Bennelong Park, on Waterview Street itself, is listed by the City of Ryde as an off-leash area at all times, with water access on the foreshore. Putney Park on Pellisier Road is close by for an on-lead river loop. For a bigger run, the Meadowbank Dog Beach is one suburb over, and the Ryde Park Fenced Dog Park gives a secure option nearby.
