Little espresso

Little Espresso is a small, health-leaning cafe at 4 Main Street in the Stockland Point Cook Town Centre, on the corner with Murnong Street. Dogs are welcome at the outdoor alfresco tables on Main Street, which suits the errand-run rhythm of the centre: it opens from 6am weekdays and Saturdays, 7am Sundays, closing through the mid-afternoon to early evening depending on the day.

The dog setup

The alfresco tables along Main Street catch the sun and take dogs; the indoor section is for service animals only. Staff are used to owners arriving with dogs mid-walk. No water bowl is guaranteed, so pack your own; the strip is paved and busy at coffee peak, so tuck the lead in close.

The menu

This is one of the healthier coffee stops in the west: acai bowls, Bircher muesli, salads and fresh juice alongside the espresso, with gluten-free cakes in the cabinet and a run of toasties and jaffles for something warm. The carrot and zucchini-leaning cabinet changes, so it is worth a look before ordering. Vegetarian options are a given rather than an add-on.

Getting there and parking

The cafe sits in the Stockland Point Cook centre on Main Street, with the Coles basement car park the closest all-weather option and open-air parking throughout the Town Centre. Footpath access from the street is direct, which keeps the cafe-to-table hop short with a dog.

Close by with the dogs

Wyndham has built out serious dog infrastructure here: Saltwater Reserve's fenced dog park has agility gear and double gates, and The Strand off-lead park covers the southern side. Little Miss Violet, also in Point Cook, runs a dedicated dog menu if you want to spoil yours.
