Getting there. It sits near the corner of Saltwater Promenade and Middleton Drive, with a large free car park on site and flat, easy access. The nearest station is Williams Landing, but you will want a car or bus for the last leg rather than walking it.

When to go. Weekday evenings from about 5 to 7pm and weekend mornings are the busiest. Being inland, it is unaffected by tides, so it works year-round - just pick your timing to match your dog's tolerance for a crowd.
