Staff have a reputation for looking after the regular canine visitors, and it is worth a polite ask for a water bowl if one is not already out. There is no dedicated dog menu, just good coffee and light bites for the humans. Hours run 6:30am to 2pm weekdays, 7:30am to 2pm Saturdays and 8am to 12:30pm Sundays, so it is a mornings-and-lunch operation.

The 58 tram runs right along Melville Road and stops within an easy walk. Free street parking is usually available on Melville Road and the residential side streets, though the strip gets busy around school and commuter peaks.
