Old Faithful Cafe

Old Faithful Cafe is a well-liked local on Coonans Road in Pascoe Vale South with a big weekend following. The all-day breakfast and lunch menu covers the classics and then some: waffles, smashed avo, eggs benedict, sweet potato roesti and a bacon and egg roll that reviewers keep coming back to, plus a kids menu for family outings. The coffee is the headline.

The dog setup runs across two zones: the back courtyard and the limited footpath tables out front. If you take a front table, keep your dog clear of the pedestrian path. Indoors is for people and assistance dogs only. Staff are accommodating and water bowls usually appear in the courtyard, but pack your own bowl and a couple of treats to be safe.
