Some Folk Coffee is a family-run roastery and specialty coffee shop on Prosperity Drive, in a commercial pocket of Ocean Grove. Dogs are welcome in the footpath seating out front, and there is usually easy parking right at the door.

The dog setup. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor and footpath seating directly in front of the cafe. The area is fairly intimate, so it suits a settled, well-socialised dog sitting quietly by your table. Water bowls are usually out front, but pack your own travel bowl on busy days. Indoors is reserved for people.

Good to know. The owners roast their own beans, with rotating single-origin coffees, batch brews and seasonal specials. A genuine specialty coffee stop rather than a full meal venue.

Getting there. Ample free off-street and kerbside parking is usually available right in front, in the surrounding commercial estate off the Grubb Road area.

Nearby with the dogs. Kingston Park is close by for an on-leash walk through bushland, and the Ocean Grove dog beaches are a short drive; check posted council signs for off-leash times on the day.
