CLUBHOUSE is a specialty coffee spot at 1279 Sandgate Road, Nundah, built around the brew rather than a big menu. It opens early, keeps things simple, and has a good local reputation for looking after visiting dogs, which makes it a natural walk-and-coffee stop in Brisbane's inner north.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome at the outdoor footpath seating on a lead, beside you while you drink. The casual shopfront setup is easy to manage with a dog, and staff are known to hand out a treat and fetch a water bowl. Still, carry your own on hot Brisbane mornings, because footpath seating in summer is warm work.

The vibe

This is a coffee-first neighbourhood counter, not a full breakfast destination. Expect rotating guest roasters from around Australia, batch brew and cold brew on the go, muffins for the counter, and no surcharge for alternative milks. The feel is relaxed and quiet, with regulars rating it among Nundah's best for the flat white and batch brew.

Getting there and parking

Street parking on Sandgate Road is limited, so try the side streets such as Aspinall Street or the nearby Woolworths car park at peak times. Nundah station is a short walk if you are coming by train, and doors open at 5am on weekdays, 6am on weekends.

Close by with the dogs
