La Mint Cafe

La Mint Cafe trades from the AMC Jakovich Centre at 4 McGrath Road, Munster, on the edge of the Henderson industrial area south of Perth. It is a weekday local for the surrounding commercial strip: early coffee, breakfast and working lunches, with an extensive catering arm running alongside. The outdoor tables suit a dog while you eat.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome at the outdoor seating, which is partially shaded. Keep them on a lead and settled. Water bowls are sometimes put out, but pack your own travel bowl to be safe. Indoor seating is for people, and it is worth confirming the best table position with staff on arrival, since the covered spots are the ones to ask for on a hot morning.

Coffee and a broad breakfast and lunch menu carry the reputation, with healthy options, vegetarian-friendly dishes and quick bites for the trade crowd. Regulars mention the chicken lasagne and the croissant with egg. This is strictly a weekday stop: doors open 6am and the kitchen closes at 2:30pm, with Saturday and Sunday shut entirely, so weekend walkers will need a different plan.

There is a free on-site car park at the centre plus easy street parking on McGrath Road, and access into the cafe is flat from the car park.
