Sul Lago Lifestyle is a lakeside cafe at Shop 4/28 Lakefront Avenue in the Beeliar Village shopping centre, south of Perth. It is a family-friendly, walk-in breakfast and lunch spot with alfresco seating looking over the adjacent wetlands, doing breakfast plates like salmon benny and pulled beef brisket benedict, burgers, pancakes and gluten-free corn cakes. The cafe answers plainly on its own Facebook that it is dog friendly, with outdoor seating and a water bowl available.

The dog setup

Dogs join you on the terrace, not inside, and the cafe keeps a water bowl on hand, which takes one thing off your packing list. Keep your dog leashed and settled as you would at any shared alfresco row. Mornings are the best window: loop the lake path first, then claim an outdoor table while they are still free, since a reviewer notes tables start packing up before closing time.

Getting there and parking

Hours run 6:30am to 2pm weekdays and 7:30am to midday on weekends. Parking is in the shopping centre carpark off Lakefront Avenue, generally easy on weekday mornings and busier on Saturday breakfasts. The lake loop with your dog is the natural pre-coffee add-on, and it is short enough to do twice.
