FIELDS of Vincent

FIELDS of Vincent is a bagel and smoothie counter on Scarborough Beach Road in Mount Hawthorn, open from 6am to 2pm every day, and dogs are welcome at the street-side seating out front.

The dog setup

Dogs sit at the outdoor tables on lead, and the open window that faces the footpath means you can order without leaving your dog unattended. Staff generally put a water bowl out, and the small interior means this is an outdoor visit rather than a settle-in one.

The vibe

It is a family-run bagel house first and a coffee shop second. The cajun chicken and avocado-beetroot relish bagels get named most, alongside sourdough from Sourdo Bakehouse, cinnamon scrolls and superfood smoothies like the Green Warrior.

Gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options are well covered, and the Colombian cold brew has a following of its own.

Getting there and parking

It is at 135 Scarborough Beach Road, with street parking that tightens up at weekend brunch time. Edinboro Street and Fairfield Street are the usual fallback, or come on foot from the surrounding blocks.

While you're out there
