Roasted N Toasted

Roasted N Toasted is a small coffee and jaffle shop on Vincent Street in Leederville, brewing Northbridge Coffee Roasters beans and turning out a long list of toasted sandwiches. It is a genuine quick-stop for dog walkers: order at the counter, take a footpath seat, and your dog settles at your feet while the jaffle comes out.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor footpath seating, which is the easiest and most reliable spot with a lead. Some visitors report well-behaved dogs being allowed inside as well, but treat that as case-by-case and ask staff before you sit down. No dedicated water bowl is mentioned, so bring your own on a hot Perth morning.

Worth knowing

The jaffle menu is the drawcard, alongside cinnamon scrolls, ham and cheese croissants and the house blend. Staff are consistently described as friendly and polite, and the cafe takes phone orders for a fast pickup if you would rather keep walking than sit. Hours are weekday-only, 6am to 2pm, with weekends closed, so this is strictly a working-week stop.

Getting there and parking

It is on Vincent Street, an easy walk from the Leederville town centre and station. Parking is metered street parking on Vincent Street and the side streets, so expect to feed a meter rather than find a free bay.

Close by with the dogs

Leederville Oval loops nicely before or after coffee, and Lake Monger's dog park in Wembley is a few minutes' drive for a proper off-leash run. For other cups nearby, Mister Focaccia is in the same strip and The Coffee Thief is just west. More dog-friendly cafes in Western Australia or plan via Leederville.
