Vista Cafe Bar sits in the Mildura Arts Centre precinct at 199 Cureton Avenue, beside the historic Rio Vista House and a short stroll from the river. It is a genuinely dog-welcoming stop, with shaded veranda seating and open lawns out front that give dogs room to settle.

Getting there. Free parking sits in the Arts Centre car park opposite and along Cureton Avenue. It is a short drive from the city or an easy walk in along the riverfront paths.

Nearby with the dogs. Rio Vista Park is right outside for on-lead strolls, the Murray River walkways run alongside, and the Rio Vista fenced dog park is close for an off-leash run.

Mornings are pleasant and uncrowded; remember the kitchen winds down early afternoon, so it is a breakfast-to-lunch plan rather than an afternoon one.
