Seora Café

Seora Cafe is a modern, women owned neighbourhood cafe at Unit 1/222 Coward Street, Mascot, a short walk from the station and the airport hotels. It opens from 5am on weekdays and Saturdays, 5:30am Sundays, with lunchtime closes, so it catches the pre dawn flight crowd and the dog walkers before the street wakes up.

The dog setup

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating, which is arranged for exactly that, a dog at your feet while you work through a flat white. Indoors stays people only, so keep your dog secured on the footpath side. Staff have built a friendly reputation with pets, and the morning rhythm is relaxed enough that a settling dog is no disruption.

Max: Five am opening is no accident. Fuel up here, then take the dog round to the reserve while the streets are still quiet.

Worth knowing

The coffee runs on Paradox Coffee Roasters beans, with matcha lattes, banana bread, brioche and a short list of sandwiches and light plates. Reviewers keep coming back to the service and the easy atmosphere rather than a big menu, and the lunchtime close means this is a morning plan, not an afternoon one.

Getting there and parking

It is a short walk from Mascot station along Coward Street, and free street parking turns over in the surrounding blocks if you are driving. Coming from the airport side, the cafe sits on the main strip before the residential streets take over.

Close by with the dogs

High Street Reserve Fenced Dog Park is the obvious pairing, a fenced run a short walk on. For a longer leg stretch, the Cooks River Cycleway threads west past Tempe Dog Park.
