The Baristas' Shed is a big, busy breakfast-and-lunch cafe in the Marsden Park Home Hub precinct near the Sydney zoo end of the northwest growth corridor, roasting its own Marsden Blend and pouring it across a huge local following. Coffee comes from the house Marsden Blend. It runs 6am weekdays from Mondays, later close on Friday nights (9pm), and 7am starts across the weekend. Expect a crowd; it is a high-volume operation.

Getting there and parking

It sits within the Marsden Park Home Hub near the IKEA precinct, with plentiful free parking and wheelchair-accessible entrances. Access off Richmond Road is straightforward, and the surrounding estate streets in Marsden Park and Elara have footpaths for a short leg-stretcher before or after eating.

Worth knowing

Weekday mornings are far calmer than the weekend brunch rush, which can mean a wait. Best used as a refuel stop while already out this way, with a fenced park run slotted in beforehand so your dog is content to settle at the table.
